轉載自【聯合晚報╱記者謝蕙蓮/台北報導】 2012.03.03 02:44 pm 台鐵首次鐵路外交在本月12日簽約，台鐵CK124蒸汽機車、日本JR北海道C11171SL「冬季濕原號」，當天將正式締結為姊妹列車。台鐵局規畫，當天將由CK124、CK101兩輛國寶級蒸汽機車，牽引4輛DR2050藍色小叮噹，以郵輪式列車方式行駛內灣線。同一時間日本北海道的「冬季濕原號」也會同步開行。郵輪式列車 12日新竹起航冬季濕原號同一時間開行台鐵局表示，3月12日上午10時9分，CK124、CK101將在新竹站同步鳴笛啟航，開行一列郵輪式列車，讓民眾搭蒸汽火車，到內灣體驗客家風情。日本北海道的「冬季濕原號」也將在同一時間同步開行。台鐵局營業科長彭坤炎表示，日本JR北北海道「冬季濕源號」原來就有固定開行，雙方締結姐妹車後，台灣的CK124 有意在今年夏天開行郵輪式列車，讓台日的姐妹蒸汽火車，分別在冬天和夏天行駛，帶動兩地鐵道觀光。 3月12日CK124、CK101在內灣線的郵輪式列車活動，預計從新竹站開出後，會在竹東站停留60分鐘，讓參加民眾參觀竹簾文化館，並安排竹器DIY活動。之後台鐵會安排列車慢行經過合興站，由郵輪式列車的導覽人員，帶領乘客欣賞獨具風格的紅磚紅瓦合興站老站房。列車抵達內灣站後，在內灣停留大約2小時，讓旅客探訪內灣老街、內灣戲院、漫畫家劉興欽老師工作室等。由於蒸汽機車的牽引力有限，彭坤炎表示，當天的郵輪式列車，只開放180名民眾購票參加，台鐵訂3月5日上午9時起，開民眾網路訂購車票，車票採單一價750元，預料將吸引鐵道迷搶購。彭坤炎表示，除了3月12日當天開行一列郵輪式列車，台鐵也規畫今年6月鐵路節後，由CK124擔崗在6月到8月間，開行蒸汽懷舊觀光郵輪式列車，行駛路線以內灣、集集、平溪三條鐵路支線，以及舊山線和花東線等特色景點為主。

（路透柏林2011/07/13 日電）德國鐵路公司（DeutscheBahn）發言人今天說，德鐵配置的鐵軌內藏暗碼，用以阻止竊賊以高商品價格在黑市銷贓。德鐵的鐵軌和設備竊案，自2009年以來幾乎增加1倍，使公司每年損失約1000萬歐元（1420萬美元），上千火車班次不是誤點就是遭取消。德鐵發言人說：「暗碼可協助警方辨認出失竊設備，也有嚇阻竊賊功能。」暗碼藏在金屬內，僅有照射特殊光線時才能顯現，也可查出是在何處失竊，但若竊賊將贓物熔化，暗碼就無從發揮用處。他說：「暗碼就像人的指紋。」竊賊最愛偷含銅裝備，比如電纜和接觸導線，德國鐵路和警察去年共逮捕約500名竊取鐵路設備的宵小。（轉載自路透社翻譯）
