RailStant was released in June 2013. People always ask us what's the different between the RailStand roller test stand and Marklin/SMT roller test stand, Here after we have a table to let people understand easier comparison in function and structure points.

The Railstand has adjustable bearing brackets that can be spaced to accommodate a variety of locomotive wheel arrangements; and the combined tracks also has moveable that can be test differnt type locomotives. Your are able to test all kind of the locomotives.

The stainless wire (for AC power) let the bearing brackets can not move out, It's only suit for the Marklin small locomotives.

The Railstand HO-5208 with a long work area that is 35.8CM and can be used on biggest locomotives with a double gear driver transmission such as the DDA40X, BR V320 diesel locomotive (Marklin #39320, TRIX #22432).

The Marklin 78151 is limited by the length of the stainless steel wire, his pairs of bearing brackets work area only 19.5CM. It can't test the BR V320, DDA40X locomotives... which has a double gear driver transmission locomotive.

The patented design of the Railstand bearing bracket uses simple gravity for electrical contact. The design is sturdy and compact, with enough insulators between metal conductors.
